Neil O. Spencer, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist in active practice since 1991. He graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1987 and completed residency training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1991.  After completing his military service, he has been in practice in Utah since 1995.  Diana F. Fletcher, PA-C and Mary Byam-Smith are certified Physician Assistants with experience in primary care, obstetrics, and gynecology.  

We Offer: 

We offer comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services including care for high risk and normal pregnancy. We perform periodic obstetric ultrasound exams throughout pregnancy to follow fetal growth and screen for problems.  We will provide an ultrasound with every prenatal visit if you request. 

We offer preventive health services and perform pelvic ultrasound examinations with all yearly general examinations to screen for uterine and ovarian cancer and other problems.

We offer comprehensive surgical gynecology services including laparoscopy procedures, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, hysterectomy, evaluation and treatment for urinary incontinence, and evaluation and initial treatment for female infertility. 

Our Staff:

Jan Welker is our office manager.  She can help you with insurance and billing questions, coordination of benefits, appointments, and any other question or concern you may have about our office and our affiliate hospitals and laboratories. 

Elaine Wilson is our receptionist and is also a medical assistant.  She can help you with appointment scheduling and any other question or concern you may have as you visit our office.

Cynthia Souza is a medical assistant and is primarily responsible for insurance authorizations and  the scheduling of tests and procedures at the hospital.  She is responsible for handling medical questions and telephone triage in the office.  She is also responsible for coordinating care for our pregnant patients and performs fetal testing procedures in the office.

Nikole Crockett is a medical assistant working in the back office.  She is directly responsible for patient care in the back and works primarily for Dr. Spencer.  She is also responsible for the laboratory programs at the office.  She can help you with any questions about laboratory tests and results.

Becky Rasmussen is a medical assistant also working in the back office.  She is directly responsible for patient care in the back and works primarily with our Physician Assistants. 

Hospital Services:

Hospital services are provided at Davis Hospital in Layton, McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden, as well as Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden.

Preferred Network Providers:

We are preferred network providers for most insurance plans offered in the Utah market. Even if we are not listed in your provider directory, we most likely are a preferred provider. Please call us to check.
